CompactPCI Serial system program for early adopters

The CompactPCI Serial architecture allows to build modular computers in a simple and very cost-effective way. The internal grid of the boards are still based on the existing euroboard form factor IEC 60297 and IEEE 1101.x. This will give all compactPCI users the possibility to migrate form a “slower” parallel but well known bus architecture to a new high speed topology. CompactPCI Serial can be used in general electronics market (test & measurement), in mobile applications (vehicles, ships, trains), in military environments as well as in telecommunications applications or rugged industrial environments. Schroff is offering a new system program for early adopters. The main components of this Eco system are a modular chassis (housing), a cooling concept, a power supply and the new serial single star backplane.
