Debugging of deeply embedded multicore systems is challenging, for both the developer as well as for the debug tools. With tasks running really in parallel we are facing new types of bugs. To get rid of them, PLS has extended the Universal Debug Engine (UDE) by the Universal Multi-Core Workbench. The Universal Multi-Core Workbench enables real multicore debugging and was nominated for the Embedded Award 2012 in the category tools.
